To foster innovation and creativity in today’s world, gender equality in Informatics is becoming increasingly important because it brings diverse ideas and experiences. Recruitment efforts aimed at balancing gender in Informatics should start from kindergarten and continue through to university. The study highlights the importance of fostering an interest in computer science (CS) among girls from a young age and maintaining this interest through strategic interventions at the all K-12 school levels. The current initiatives provide different programs at each level, but these are not enough for a gender-balanced environment in Informatics. Therefore, the chapter proposes a multi-level approach that integrates gender-neutral curricula, increases mentorship opportunities and promotes interdisciplinary connections between Informatics and other fields. By creating environments that support gender diversity and addressing barriers, this research adds to the discussion on achieving lasting gender balance in Informatics. The results highlight the importance of starting early, providing consistent support, training educators, and involving parents to build a more inclusive and innovative future in technology.
